I'm so happy I found this place, the food is amazing own of the place is very kind and sweet food is very fresh! I'll definitely come back again!

Had the pork souvlaki, chicken bacon platter, and gyro. All were delicious. Nice guys too. Efharisto!

We ordered the pork gyro and the chicken kabob platter for dinner. Both were good but I have to point out that I really enjoyed the pork gyro. It was seasoned really well, Juicy and really satisfied my sudden Mediterranean cravings last night. Keeping this place in mind for next time

Very yummy gyros, and super quick service. I do wish the portions were a big bigger for the price- but still really good!

Is this how good the food in Greece is ? If so I'm flying there next month ! Came here with my buddy and we were starving ! We started off by sharing the Greek fries with feta cheese on top ! Me and my friend each got a plate, I got the chicken tikka plate which came with rice and sides. It was so flavor ! My friend got the beef koftu plate and he loved it. We each got wraps. He got the pork gyro and said it was so much flavor in the gyro. I got the falafel gyro and I loved it. Very filling and the veggies are so fresh. The restaurant was clean and the cashier was super nice which is always a plus.

Best chicken gyro ive ever had. Dude was super nice, the place was very nice and clean bathrooms too, great place.

I have been a customer for a long time, first on Pacific Beach, then in Morena. Eric, the former owner has left, selling Zgara to Tommy over the summer. I look forward to returning for the best falafel and gyros around. I am certain Tom will carry in the excellent tradition, and good luck The food us the best Ron

We find ourselves at ZGARA at least once a month, and it's truly a gem! The food is absolutely amazing, and the owners are incredibly nice and respectful. Every time we visit, we feel so welcomed. I've loved every single dish I've tried--it's hard to pick a favorite! It's a fantastic spot for a casual weeknight dinner or for takeout when you're craving something delicious. If you haven't tried their food yet, you're missing out! Once you do, you'll wonder why you waited so long. Let's all support our local businesses!

Feels more like a 3.75 than a 4 but I round up. I feel like this place is the epitome of fine. Had the lunch special - I wish they were just a little more flexible w the side or at least as much as they were about the drink (appreciate I could get water not soda). The pork gyro (credit where it's due I've never seen this before anywhere) was tasty enough, the veggies were fresh and the bought pita was well heated. But honestly it wasn't anything special - tasted like carnitas in a flatbread and nothing particularly stood out. My wife's chicken gyro ironically was better tasting but still was just fine, nothing special. Feel like if I worked near here I'd visit from time to Time but if you're not in the area I don't think this place is worth a drive. It's a neighborhood Greek place, reasonable prices, decent food but not really only for people nearby.
